Show information
Our second show experience took us to Timișoara, where we had the honour of participating in a WCF World Show. This time, our cattery was represented by five cats: two kittens and three novice cats, making it an exciting and memorable event for our growing Transylvanian family.
One of the highlights of the weekend was our young kitten, Archie, a daughter of Princess Lupita. Archie made us incredibly proud by winning first place in the Variety Ring on both show days. Watching her shine in the ring was a very special moment and a wonderful reward for all the dedication and love we invest in our cats.
Our three novice cats were also officially recognised as Transylvanian cats, another important step in promoting and preserving this unique Romanian breed. Adding to our joy, Nero, one of our novice cats, won a beautiful rosette on the second day of the show.
The experience was not without its challenges. At the time, I was eight months pregnant, which made the long days, preparations, and emotions even more demanding. Despite the exhaustion, it was all worth it. The support of our cats, the friendships we made, and the pride we felt in seeing them appreciated by the judges created memories that we will cherish forever.
This show reminded us that every challenge can be overcome with passion and determination. From Lupita’s journey as a rescued street cat to seeing her daughter Archie achieve such wonderful results, we continue to be inspired by these remarkable cats and the path they have led us on.
Timișoara will always hold a special place in our hearts as the show where our Transylvanian family truly began to flourish.
